And now, the shipping forecast

By some mysterious means it has become clear this week that the foster boys are in fact not going to be going anywhere else. Thus we needed to give them proper names instead of just nicknames. Last time we acquired rats we discussed the names of shipping forecast regions (inspired by our friend H who was keen for us to name someone Cromarty) but decided they were really boys’ names, and we were getting girls.

That has all changed now, of course, so allow me to introduce the newly monikered:

Cromarty

"Hmm, well, not bad as names go, I suppose."

“Hmm, well, not bad as names go, I suppose.”

Fitzroy

"Oh yes, quite dignified - ARGH CATCH ME I'M GONNA FALL!"

“Oh yes, quite dignified – ARGH CATCH ME I’M GONNA FALL!”

And Biscay

"That.Is.A.Girl's.Name."

“That.Is.A.Girl’s.Name.”

In case anyone is unfamiliar with the shipping forecast, these are the regions:

I’m keeping Rockall and Malin in reserve for another time.
