Birthday cake? Don’t mind if I do

On Thursday we had a birthday celebration for the three senior citizens. Hawkeye is two and a half, 75 in human terms, and Pinch and Bitesize are two (or 60). We are not sure of the girls’ exact birthdays, but it’s sometime around now and this was the simplest solution.

We gave them a little cupcake to enjoy:

She is probably at the bottom of the pecking order. They were foxed by the mini chocolate beans, though, until I broke some open and they realised there was chocolate inside, after which they hoovered them up very effectively.

The youngsters had a go at what was left of the cake, even though none of them have a birthday till Dec 25th:

Then Ragweed decided she wanted her picture taking in increasingly extreme close up:

Also this week Hawkeye junior arrived. He’s a Hallowe’en rat from the lovely Hannah at Solstice Minis – and he does have two ears, I just took the photo from a rubbish angle:

  1. What a cute figurine! I had no idea rats could eat chocolate. They look so sweet! ^_^ Loving that extreme close up too!

Oh, all so precious. It’s very special when they reach two and over. One of ours, Rubin, is two this month.
